  181. * If you switch to another application while the program is fetching
  182. information from the server, the program does not update the "Fetching
  183. whatever" dialog box (that is, if the application you've switched to 
  184. covers up the dialog box, the text inside the dialog box does not get 
  185. re-written).
  186. * Under System 7, keeping the signature file in the system folder causes
  187. an error message and prevents you from posting.  To get around this, 
  188. keep the signature file in the same file as TheNews.
  189. * There is an incompatibility with Norton Directory Assistance which
  190. makes saving certain articles difficult.  To get around this, try changing
  191. the target file name to something other than the article subject (which
  192. is the default).

  244. Known bugs/shortcomings:
  245. *    CMD-. can't stop every lengthy operation.  The problem here is
  246.     that some requests must run to completion so the input buffer 
  247.     gets emptied.  The program must wait for all of the input from
  248.     the server before it can respond to the abort request.
  249. *    Group list occasionally reports articles available but none shown
  250.     when the article list appears.  The problem here is that the 
  251.     server reports, for example, that it has articles 100 through 199,
  252.     but in fact some articles within that range are unavailable (for
  253.     instance they were cancelled by the poster).  A 'catchup' operation
  254.     from the groups menu will fix the group list.
